Dear Northern California IUG Members,
We’re excited to announce the official date for the (re)launch of the NorCal IUG Regional meeting on September 26 hosted by the Sacramento Public Library.
Friday, September 26, 2025 (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM):
Sacramento Public Library (Central Branch - West Meeting Room)

Sacramento, CA 95814
Clarivate will be joining us to share key product updates, answer questions, and support regional engagement efforts—and they’ll also be generously providing complimentary morning refreshments (like bagels and pastries) for all attendees.
Main topics will include:
- Sierra
- Vega Library Experience
- Innovative Mobile App and Phone Alert
- and much more!
In addition to vendor-led updates, we’ll host user-led sessions on topics submitted by the community, such as:
- Circulation workflows
- Staff training documentation and tips
- Sierra upgrade paths and planning
- Best practices for Sierra system administration
Help shape the agenda by submitting your ideas through the questionnaire form—we’ll make sure your suggestions are included!
We’ll also take time to discuss plans for future NorCal-IUG meetups—how often we should gather, which topics matter most, and how to keep the momentum going.
We’re excited to reconnect!
