We’re excited to announce the launch of the British Columbia Innovative Users Group—and we’d love for you to be a part of it!
In partnership with Coquitlam Public Library, we’re hosting our first in-person regional conference on Thursday, September 18, 2025 (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM):
Coquitlam – City Centre Branch

This event will bring together library professionals from across Western Canada to share ideas, discuss workflows, and reconnect as a community. Clarivate will be joining us to share key product updates, answer questions, and support regional engagement efforts—and they’ll also be generously providing complimentary refreshments.
Topics may include:
- Sierra & Polaris
- Vega Library Experience
- Innovative Mobile, Phone Alerts & SMS
In addition to vendor-led updates, we’ll host user-led sessions on topics submitted by the community. Help shape the agenda by submitting your ideas through the questionnaire form—we’ll make sure your suggestions are included!
We’ll also discuss ideas for future British Columbia IUG gatherings and how we’d like to shape the group moving forward.
