SeMi-IUG (Regional event)
Where: Clinton-Macomb Public Library 40900 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038

Rough Agenda:
10:00 am - 10:15 am: Arrival and refreshments.
10:15 am - 10:30 am: Introductions of attendees and the products they are currently using or exploring.
10:30 am - 2:00 pm (welcome to stay longer): Free discussion of topics related to Clarivate products, with a focus at the beginning on requested interests from the submitted form.
Key topics:
-Explore and discuss the wide variety of Vega product updates from other member libraries. Share and discuss your implementations, ask questions, voice concerns, and brainstorm possible new workflows for your staff.
- This is a great opportunity to express your Idea Exchange submissions and vote for community ideas. I'll take notes during the discussion, and we can share the list to help gather votes for causes that matter to us.
- Engage in a continued discussion about cataloging unusual items, such as collectibles, vinyl records, board games, and more. Share your experiences in managing record clean-ups with Vega.
- IUG 2024 hosted in Detroit (March 25-27). Local presenters, meet-ups, library tours, etc..
Additionally, if we received comments about other Clarivate products that I did not list we can discuss that as well.
If, at any point, we believe that a breakout session for Sierra and Polaris System Administrators would be beneficial, we can arrange it.
Possible changes to the schedule:
If we receive enough "yes" votes regarding III (Clarivate) attending, we will make sure to allocate time in the morning for their participation. We can also consider adding more refreshments or coordinating lunch orders.
